SETTING UP DIALUP FOR XVI - WIN ME 1. From your desktop, double-click on the "My Computer" icon. 2. In the window you just opened, click the blue "Dial-Up Networking" (see above) link at the extreme left of your window. If that link is not there, then double-click on Control Panel and then double-click on Dial-up Networking. 3. Double click on the "Make New Connection" icon (shown above). 4. Type "XVI" in the top line. The computer should select your modem for you on the second line, so leave this as it is. Hit "Next." 5. Make sure the area code is 219. Then, enter the phone number of 690-2200. Hit "Next." 6. Click on "Finish." 7. Now, go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Internet Options. Left-click once on the Connections tab. 8. Left-click once on XVI so it is now highlighted. Click Set Default. Your window should now look like the following. 9. Click Ok at the bottom. You're finished!
