SETTING UP DIALUP FOR XVI - WIN 95/98 1. From your desktop, double-click on the "My Computer" icon. 2. In the window you just opened, double click on "Dial-Up Networking." 3. Double click on the "Make New Connection" icon (shown above). 4. Type "XVI" in the top line. The computer should select your modem for you on the second line, so leave this as it is. Hit "Next." 5. Make sure the area code is 219. Then, enter the phone number of 690-2200. Hit "Next." 6. Click on "Finish." 7. You should see an icon labeled "XVI." Click on the icon with your right mouse button. A menu should pop up. Click on "Properties." Then click on the "Server Types" tab. 8. The only boxes that should be checked on this screen are "TCP/IP" and "Enable Software Compression." Click ok, and you finished!
